I want the students to have time to ‘be children’, to play, spend time with family members and to pursue interests etc. They will often be tired after a day at school.It is also important that they have a routine each night, of about 20 minutes, working with their reading book.
Learning at home needs to be enjoyable and stress-free for all involved. Please see me if you want more information on listening to reading or games to play when learning sight words.
All work set each week will be shown on Google Classroom. Both you and your child/ren will be able to access Google Classroom via their Chromebooks. If you do not have internet access at home, please let me know. Students will be able to open up their work, web pages, files, etc at school and work off-line at home. As soon as they come to school, their Chromebook will connect to the school internet and save in/update Google Drive.
